Daphne van Domselaar and Anneke Borbe have been nominated for the Barclays Women\u2019s Super League Save of the Season award.<\/p>\n

Our Dutch goalkeeper won the division\u2019s Save of the Month award in October with a fine save against Brighton & Hove Albion\u2019s Carla Camacho.<\/p>\n

She showed quick reflexes to react to Camacho\u2019s header, pushing it past the post and helping us retain a 1-0 lead.<\/p>\n

Anneke was January\u2019s Save of the Month winner with an outstanding reaction save against Fridolina Rolfo\u2019s powerful header from close range. We would go onto draw 0-0 with Manchester United and earn a clean sheet.<\/p>\n

In March, Daphne won the Save of the Month award again with a sensational stop in the north London derby.<\/p>\n

She produced a stunning, backtracking save to deny Bethany England during a 5-2 victory over our local rivals at Emirates Stadium, clawing the header away from a certain goal.<\/p>\n

\n<\/article>\n

For this award, Daphne and Anneke are going up against the other Save of the Month winners – Janina Leitzi (Leicester City), Ayaka Yamashita (Manchester City), and Elena Lete (London City Lionesses).<\/p>\n
