Bournemouth have released a statement confirming that they\u2019ve suspended Alex Jimenez and are investigating the player over messages to a 15-year-old.<\/strong><\/p>\n

These messages have appeared online and certainly look pretty incriminating, as you can see from the pictures below\u2026<\/p>\n

Bournemouth have released a statement on their official website confirming that Jimenez will not be involved in the squad for the upcoming game against Fulham as they look into this serious incident.<\/p>\n

\u201cAFC Bournemouth are aware of posts circulating on social media involving right-back, \u00c1lex Jim\u00e9nez,\u201d the club\u2019s statement read.<\/p>\n

Who is Alex Jimenez?<\/h2>\n

Jimenez is a Spanish right-back who joined Bournemouth this season, initially on loan from AC Milan.<\/p>\n

The 21-year-old has made 32 appearances for the Cherries this term, scoring one goal, and this news is a big blow for manager Andoni Iraola.<\/p>\n

Jimenez started out in Real Madrid\u2019s academy and has represented Spain at youth level, but not yet at senior international level.<\/p>\n

It will be interesting to see what kind of action ends up being taken if these leaked messages really prove to be as bad as they appear.<\/p>\n
