That puts them neck and neck at around 2\/1.<\/p>\n Marco Silva, Frank Lampard and other runners are significantly further back. It really feels like the Blues are going to do all they can to persuade Alonso, then fall back on Iraola if they can\u2019t convince the former Real Madrid coach.<\/p>\n A piece for the Athletic by Graham Ruthven takes a look at Alonso and why Chelsea want him.
