Ren\u00e9e Slegers has been nominated for the Barclays Women\u2019s Super League Manager of the Season award.<\/p>\n

We\u2019re third in the WSL ahead of Saturday\u2019s game against Aston Villa, but could finish second after our final three matches.<\/p>\n

Should we win the final three games, we will improve on last season\u2019s points tally.<\/p>\n

Defensively, we\u2019ve been the best team in the league, conceding the fewest goals (13), five behind Man City, who have played two games more.<\/p>\n

Impressively, we\u2019ve only lost once in the WSL in 2025\/26 – away to Man City in October – meaning we\u2019re currently on an unbeaten run of 14 matches.<\/p>\n

That matches our longest unbeaten streak in a single WSL campaign, which we first set in 2012.<\/p>\n

For this award, Ren\u00e9e is going up against Andr\u00e9e Jeglertz, who has taken Man City to the title, and Martin Ho, who has delivered a fifth-place finish for Tottenham Hotspur.<\/p>\n
