{"id":6157,"date":"2026-05-08T21:05:51","date_gmt":"2026-05-08T21:05:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/playball.com.ng\/?p=6157"},"modified":"2026-05-08T21:05:51","modified_gmt":"2026-05-08T21:05:51","slug":"blueco-could-use-nicolas-jackson-to-sign-80m-frightening-winger","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/playball.com.ng\/?p=6157","title":{"rendered":"BlueCo \u2018could use Nicolas Jackson\u2019 to sign \u00a380m \u2018frightening\u2019 winger"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div><!-- Article Start --><\/p>\n<p>Chelsea could use Nicolas Jackson to strike a deal with Newcastle United for Anthony Gordon, according to a German journalist.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jackson<\/strong> is on his way back to Chelsea, with Bayern Munich deciding against making his loan deal permanent.<\/p>\n<p>The Senegal international striker joined <strong>Bayern<\/strong> on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea in the summer of 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Jackson has scored 10 goals and given four assists in 32 matches in all competitions for Bayern this season.<\/p>\n<p>It is hard to envisage <strong>Chelsea<\/strong> having a place for Jackson in their squad next season, and, according to <em>Bild<\/em> journalist <em>Christian Falk<\/em>the London club\u2019s owners, BlueCo, could use him to sign <strong>Anthony Gordon<\/strong> from <strong>Newcastle United<\/strong> in the summer of 2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chelsea are among the clubs that are keen on Gordon<\/strong>who is valued at \u00a380million by his club Newcastle.<\/p>\n<p><strong>READ: Liverpool v Chelsea: Prediction, team news, line-ups and odds<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bayern are actively pursuing a deal for Gordon, but, according to Falk, Barcelona are unlikely to be able to fund a move for the 25-year-old England international winger, whose \u201cpace is frightening\u201d, according to former Liverpool star Jamie Carragher on <em>Blood Red: Liverpool FC<\/em> in August 2024.<\/p>\n<h2>Chelsea could use Nicolas Jackson to sign Anthony Gordon<\/h2>\n<p>Falk wrote on his website, <em>CFBayernInsider<\/em>: \u201cIt could be true that Barcelona would like to sign Anthony Gordon.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe agents are making a lot of calls, a lot of meetings, around Europe.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere was a meeting with Chelsea, contact with Liverpool, contact with Arsenal\u2026 they\u2019re allowed to do that, as they know Newcastle need the money this summer to keep on the right side of Financial Fair Play.<\/p>\n<p><smartframe-embed customer-id=\"04742eb90cefa12a5e3ab9bae92c2b93\" image-id=\"neimScvYrD9X\" style=\"width: 100%;
