Chelsea face Liverpool at Anfield on Saturday lunchtime and Premier League legend Alan Shearer has given his prediction for the game.<\/p>\n

The Blues are languishing in ninth in the league, and face the real danger of missing out on European football all together next season.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have lost their last six league games in a row, scoring just once in the process, and mathematically can\u2019t finish higher than sixth.<\/p>\n

Alan Shearer makes Liverpool vs Chelsea prediction<\/h2>\n

Calum McFarlane confirmed Reece James and Levi Colwill have been in training this week, which is good news for Chelsea.<\/p>\n

However, the bad news is the Blues are facing an injury crisis, with Robert Sanchez set to miss the game whilst Jesse Derry is out for the remainder of the season.<\/p>\n

A seventh defeat in a row could see Chelsea drop into the bottom half of the table, in what is turning out to be a disastrous season.<\/p>\n

The Blues won the reverse fixture earlier this season, but a repeat seems very unlikely, with Shearer scathing of Chelsea in his prediction.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a big opportunity for Liverpool here,\u201d he told Metro.<\/p>\n

\u201cChelsea look a mess, don\u2019t they? I don\u2019t know how many times I\u2019ve said it, but whatever happens at the top of the club always filters down onto the pitch, and that\u2019s exactly what\u2019s happening now.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt looks as if their players are trying to get through the season to the FA Cup Final, and then see what happens.<\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t look past Liverpool to win this one, and that would secure Champions League football after what\u2019s been a really disappointing season for them.<\/p>\n

\u201cHaving watched Chelsea v Forest the other night, Chelsea were shocking, they were abysmal and there has to be a massive improvement from that, because you can\u2019t just turn it on and off.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou can\u2019t just turn up and think, oh, we\u2019ll get through to the FA Cup Final and see what happens.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey\u2019re really struggling now for European football next season, let alone Champions League football. I just don\u2019t know what to expect from Chelsea.<\/p>\n
