It’s time to look at some end of season stats – who has scored most goals per minutes in the league this season? We’ll aim to find this out today.

To qualify for this list, a player must have scored at least five goals in the Premier League this season. We’ll be looking at players from teams such as Manchester United, Newcastle United and Arsenal – who are this year’s most resourceful goalscorers?

Benjamin Sesko

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1076969316" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Benjamin Sesko has proven to be a good signing for Manchester United. He was very expensive, costing the Red Devils no less than £73 million, but his qualities have begun to shine through in the latter half of the season.

He struggled under the stewardship of Ruben Amorim, as many others within the squad did, but Michael Carrick has allowed Slovenian international to thrive.

So far, Sesko has scored 11 goals this season across 1639 minutes of play. All in all, this means he has scored a goal every 149 minutes.

Igor Thiago

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1076263139" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

It has been said plenty of times before, but it bears repeating – this has been a fantastic breakout season for Igor Thiago at Brentford. As the second-highest goalscorer in the league in 2025/26, one would expect him to appear on a list such as this.

Thiago’s shot conversion is amongst the best of the leading goalscorers in the Premier League this season. Such a natural finisher in the modern game is rare – his efforts may have earned him a spot in Brazil’s 2026 World Cup squad.

Thiago has found the back of the net on 22 occasions this season and has played 3017 minutes, giving him a goals-to-minutes ratio of 137.

That is, Junior Kroupi

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1076968106" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Eli Junior Kroupi has announced himself to the world at Bournemouth this season. One of the best young strikers in the world, many have begun to compare him to a young Thierry Henry.

When you watch him play, it’s very easy to see why. Not only is he very comfortable and composed on the ball, he’s also lethal in front of goal.

So far, Kroupi has scored 12 goals in the Premier League this season. Having played a total of 1455 minutes, he has a goals-to-minutes ratio of 121.

William Osula

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1076287214" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Newcastle United spent an awful lot of money trying to replace Alexander Isak in the summer – nevertheless, after 35 Premier League games, neither of the two players they signed have managed to accumulate a better goals-to-minutes ratio than William Osula.

In fairness, Osula has only scored five goals in the current campaign, meaning he barely made our threshold – nevertheless, given his limited playing time, it’s still an impressive feat.

Osula has played just 586 minutes this season, far less than anyone else on our list – he has a goals-to-minutes ratio of 117 as a result.

Erling Haaland

<smartframe-embed customer-id="0fab81ce12e48a0794275e1d82449fb1" image-id="1076476737" style="width: 100%; display: inline-flex; max-width: 100%;"/>

Don’t look too surprised. Erling Haaland is the best striker in the Premier League and perhaps the world – it stands to reason that the Manchester City man would have the best goals-to-minutes ratio in the Premier League this season.

Haaland has played 2780 minutes for the Sky Blues this season, scoring 25 goals along the way. After calculations, this gives him a ratio of one goal every 111 minutes.

The Norwegian international has now scored 110 Premier League goals in just 130 games. He still has a way to go before he can beat Alan Shearer’s tally of 260 – but if he stays in the Premier League for much longer, he has every chance of eclipsing it.

We’re approaching the conclusion of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
