Chelsea are not in the race for Cologne winger Said El Mala despite recent reports according to Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg.<\/p>\n

The Blues had a quiet January, but are once again expected to be busy this summer, with a of business needing to be done both in terms of incomings and outgoings.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are believed to still be looking for a centre back, whilst it\u2019s thought they also want to add another midfielder and attacker.<\/p>\n

Chelsea not in the race for Said El Mala<\/h2>\n

Co-owner Behdad Eghbali has said the model will be tweaked this summer, although fans won\u2019t believe it until they see it happen.<\/p>\n

Despite signing four attackers last summer, and with Geovany Quenda and Emmanuel Emegha arriving at the end of the season, the Blues are said to want to add one more.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s believed Chelsea are looking for a creative attacker who can play from the left and centrally, and have been linked with Morgan Rogers and Anthony Gordon.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are also reportedly leading the race for El Mala, and Plettenberg has provided an update on the future of the teenager.<\/p>\n

He took to X.com and said:<\/p>\n

\u201cBrighton are waiting in the background. FC Bayern are out at that price. Chelsea are currently not in the race despite reports. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEl Mala would back himself to make the move to the Premier League in the summer. Nothing has been decided yet, though. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cHis focus right now is participation at the World Cup. 12G\/5A so far in his first Bundesliga season. <\/span>#effzeh\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
