Chelsea need a player like Manchester United star Casemiro according to former Blues player and manager Ruud Gullit.<\/p>\n

Having had a quiet January, the Blues now face a critical summer with a new head coach needing to be appointed, and reinforcements to the squad required.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are thought to be in the market for a centre back, whilst they are believed to want to add another midfielder and attacker.<\/p>\n

Chelsea told they need a player like Casemiro<\/h2>\n

The Blues have been heavily criticised for their youth focused transfer policy, but co-owner Behdad Eghbali has said the model will be tweaked.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s also been reported that Chelsea are prepared to target players with proven Premier League experience, and they\u2019ve been linked with Morgan Rogers and Anthony Gordon.<\/p>\n

The squad is suffering with a lack of quality, leadership and know how, and Gullit believes Chelsea need a player like Casemiro.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt looks like they get a bunch of the best young players, and the coach who comes in has to deal with what\u2019s there, with no input on who arrives. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThey need a Casemiro. \u2018I need players with experience in midfield\u2019 \u2014 and if you don\u2019t have them, it\u2019s going to be a problem,\u201d he said as quoted on X.com.<\/span><\/p>\n
