Former Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant says he\u2019s had enough and Arne Slot should not be the Reds\u2019 manager next season.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Posting on X, the pundit, who made 81 appearances for Liverpool between 2006 and 2009, made it clear he\u2019s lost faith in Slot to turn this around.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s pretty remarkable to see such hostility towards Slot just a year after he guided Liverpool to the Premier League title, but the team has suffered a major dip in form this term.<\/p>\n

The Merseyside giants are now down in fourth place, having barely challenged for the title, with a dire record of 11 league defeats and 48 goals conceded.<\/p>\n

The mood inside Anfield today was pretty dire, with the home fans booing the result and seemingly singling out Slot as well when he made the surprise choice to sub off Rio Ngumoha.<\/p>\n

Slot then explained that Ngumoha was injured, but he didn\u2019t sound too pleased to be having to explain himself, with his relationship with the Kop clearly in tatters.<\/p>\n
