Former Chelsea manager Liam Rosenior reportedly advised to the club to sign more \u201cmen\u201d to replace the \u201cpetulant children\u201d in the Blues squad.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to MaxFSport of the Observer, Rosenior gave feedback to Chelsea about the state of the current squad he found himself working with, and it seems pretty damning on the mentality of a lot of the players.<\/p>\n

See below as Rosenior called for Chelsea to sign more men who would be fighters for the team, with even the senior members of this group described as being \u201ctoo quiet\u201d\u2026<\/p>\n

\u201cThe few senior players Chelsea do have were also understood to be \u2018too quiet\u2019. A few squad members were also understood to have the behaviour of \u2018petulant children\u2019 when they were not picked or something did not go their way.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Who\u2019s to blame for Chelsea\u2019s woes?<\/h2>\n

Chelsea have made a series of seemingly poor managerial appointments under this current ownership, but there\u2019s arguably also an issue with the recruitment.<\/p>\n

A lot of these CFC players don\u2019t come anywhere near the legends of the past, though it was always going to be a challenge to replace the likes of John Terry, Frank Lampard, and Didier Drogba from that golden era.<\/p>\n

This current crop of players is really struggling and it may be that Rosenior has a point about the kind of characters he was working with.<\/p>\n

Still, it\u2019s hard to escape the idea that the ownership and current board must be in large part to blame for the overall strategy that\u2019s been in place over the last few years.<\/p>\n
