Chelsea are one of the clubs alert to the situation surrounding Arsenal youngster Ethan Nwaneri according to reports.<\/p>\n

The Blues had a very quiet January, but are once again expected to be busy this summer, with a number of areas in the squad needing to be addressed.<\/p>\n

Chelsea are thought to be in the market for a centre back, whilst it\u2019s believed they want to add another midfielder and attacker.<\/p>\n

Chelsea keeping an eye on Ethan Nwaneri situation<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

They face a critical summer as they need to appoint a new head coach, and sign quality players in key areas to improve the squad.<\/p>\n

Co-Owner Behdad Eghbali has said the recruitment model will be tweaked, but fans will only believe it when they see it.<\/p>\n

Despite signing four attackers last summer, and with Geovany Quenda and Emmanuel Emegha arriving this summer, the Blues want to add one more.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have been linked with Morgan Rogers and Anthony Gordon, but Caught Offside have reported they are keeping an eye on Nwaneri.<\/p>\n

The report states as well as Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, and AC Milan are monitoring developments, and Arsenal could be tempted to cash in for \u00a335-\u00a340m.<\/p>\n

A source told Caught Offside:<\/p>\n

\u201cNwaneri is struggling right now and that means Arsenal are going to have to consider a sale.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThings can change quickly, but he clearly isn\u2019t progressing as expected, and they\u2019ll feel they can get a decent fee for him.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c<\/span>Chelsea have tried signing him before. They\u2019re still keeping an eye on how this develops, as are Dortmund, Juventus, and Milan. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cMany top clubs in England and Europe still see him as a fantastic talent, and he might benefit from a fresh start.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Nwaneri is currently on loan at Marseille, where he\u2019s scored two goals in 11 appearances, and the 19-year-old is under contract at Arsenal until 2030.<\/p>\n
