It is going to be a busy summer for Chelsea, who are set to bring in a new manager following the sacking of Liam Rosenior.<\/strong><\/p>\n

After such a disappointing Premier League campaign, the Blues will also be expected to make several new signings.<\/p>\n

Right now, the likes of Newcastle United\u2019s Anthony Gordon and Ajax\u2019s Mika Godts are being linked with moves to Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

Chelsea think Anthony Gordon will appeal to all their managerial targets<\/h2>\n

Chelsea are one club who are interested in signing Gordon this summer despite not having a manager.<\/p>\n

The Conference League holders not having a permanent head coach has not presented an issue on their end, though.<\/p>\n

Journalist Simon Phillips has claimed on Si Phillips Talks Chelsea that Chelsea are convinced whoever becomes their next manager will be happy with the signing of Gordon if he arrives.<\/p>\n

It is going to take a lot of money to get Gordon out of St James\u2019 Park in the upcoming transfer window, with another journalist, Florian Plettenberg, revealing on X that Newcastle could demand up to \u20ac85m (\u00a373.5m) for his signature.<\/p>\n

Chelsea will not have Champions League revenue coming in next term, so they may not be able to go crazy in the transfer market when it opens.<\/p>\n

Anthony Gordon would be great first signing for next Chelsea manager<\/h2>\n

If Gordon turns out to be the first signing that Chelsea make this summer, Rosenior\u2019s successor can be more than pleased.<\/p>\n

With Gordon, whoever Chelsea hire will know what they are getting. The 25-year-old is an experienced Premier League player who is direct and scores goals.<\/p>\n

The Blues have probably lacked that on their left flank this season. Alejandro Garnacho does not always take on his man, while Jamie Gittens has been injured for a large part of the campaign.<\/p>\n

Pedro Neto has had a go there, but he is not prolific and is much better on the right. All in all, Gordon could be a good addition to this Chelsea squad.<\/p>\n
