Como manager Cesc Fabregas has responded to questions about links with the Chelsea job after essentially being given permission to move to Stamford Bridge.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Spanish tactician has become highly regarded in the game after doing impressive work during his time with Como, and his connections with Chelsea make him an obvious candidate after the sacking of Liam Rosenior this week.<\/p>\n

Still, Fabregas doesn\u2019t seem to be allowing himself to get distracted by the links with the Blues as he insisted it\u2019s not important and he\u2019s only focused on Como\u2019s games.<\/p>\n

Cesc Fabregas is free to leave Como, says club president<\/h2>\n

Fabregas\u2019 comments follow the intriguing public declaration made by Como\u2019s president Mirwan Suwarso yesterday.<\/p>\n

Speaking to <\/span>City AMComo chief Suwarso was asked about the Fabregas to Chelsea links, and responded: \u201cIf that makes him happy, that\u2019s him. You want your employees to stay with you for as long as possible but at the end of the day we don\u2019t own him and he\u2019s free to go to Chelsea if he wishes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

This certainly sounds like a situation CFC should be exploring right now, though they\u2019ll also perhaps want to take their time to assess all other candidates who could be available.<\/p>\n
