According to a report from journalist Ekrem Konour, published on Sports Boom, the winger’s agents have made contact with Chelsea as well as Aston Villa to “gauge their interest”.<\/p>\n

It is unknown how the agent’s proposal was received inside Chelsea, but understanding the sporting department’s youth transfer model, it’s fair to assume a conversation would’ve followed.<\/p>\n

Domestically, his appearance from the Arsenal bench \u2014 aged 15 years and 181 days \u2014 against Brentford in September 2022 saw him become the Premier League’s youngest-ever player; a record later broken by Harvey Elliot.<\/p>\n

Three years later, Nwaneri scored his first goal in the Champions League during Arsenal’s 2-1 victory over Girona. His strike helped the Gunners to reach the competition’s knockout rounds.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the teenager at the time, Mikel Arteta, as quoted by Reuters, said: “That’s what we love about him, he’s willing to take the initiative to make things happen.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n “He’s very aggressive when he’s got the ball and so confident, because before that he had another action, a very similar one, he made the right choice, he went for it.
