Opta\u2019s Supercomputer has revised its relegation odds after Tottenham failed to seize the opportunity to give themselves some breathing space in the battle for survival.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Spurs had an opportunity to all but seal survival with a win over Leeds by opening up a four-point lead over West Ham with two games to go.<\/p>\n

Instead, their wait for a home win goes on, with the Lilywhites finding themselves in an extremely precarious position heading into the final two games of the season after playing out a 1-1 draw with Daniel Farke\u2019s men.<\/p>\n

While Spurs\u2019 fate is still very much in their hands, they now know that just one slip-up against either Chelsea or Everton could spell disaster, with West Ham sitting just two points behind.<\/p>\n

Opta\u2019s Supercomputer still considers Tottenham massive favourites to stay up<\/h2>\n

Ahead of this evening\u2019s fixture, Opta predicted that Spurs have just a 13.35 per cent chance of being relegated this season.<\/p>\n

Opta\u2019s Supercomputer now unsurprisingly says that Tottenham\u2019s likelihood of relegation has increased following their draw against Leeds, but not by much.<\/p>\n

The data analysis platform now gives the Lilywhites an 18.70 per cent chance (a 5.4 per cent increase) of joining Wolves and Burnley in the Championship next term.<\/p>\n

Opta still consider West Ham big favourites for the drop, giving Nuno Espirito Santo\u2019s side an 81.3 per cent chance of going down.<\/p>\n

Things could have been worse for Spurs against Leeds<\/h2>\n

As much as Tottenham will rue the missed chances against Leeds, particularly Richarlison\u2019s miscued volley when he had the chance to put them 2-0 up, things could have turned out even worse for the home side.<\/p>\n

If not for a huge save from Antonin Kinsky at the end and a little bit of luck, Tottenham may have ended on the losing side, which would have come as a sickening blow at a time when De Zerbi is trying to build up the players\u2019 confidence.<\/p>\n

In fact, Jamie Carragher said that Kinsky\u2019s save to keep out Sean Longstaff\u2019s effort is one of the best of the season so far, and it is hard to argue with that. <\/strong><\/p>\n

We may look back on that save as being the one that kept Tottenham in the Premier League\u2026 we hope.<\/p>\n
