West Ham United fans have told Hammers News exactly how they are feeling after Tottenham\u2019s draw with Leeds on Monday night. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Indeed, the fact that Spurs drew with Leeds has increased West Ham\u2019s chances of avoiding relegation, albeit only marginally. <\/p>\n

There is now a realistic chance that West Ham are out of the bottom three in the Premier League table when the final day of the season rolls around. <\/p>\n

They need to beat Newcastle on Sunday and hope that Spurs do not win at Chelsea on Tuesday night. <\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what fans have made about it all. <\/p>\n

West Ham fans starting to believe they can stay up again<\/h2>\n

Hammers News<\/strong> asked its\u00a0readers and subscribers across their Facebook and\u00a0TalkingPoints\u00a0platform how they were feeling about the Premier League\u2019s relegation battle after Spurs dropped points. <\/p>\n

The responses were broadly positive, with the obvious caveat that West Ham are still two points behind Spurs with two games to play applied. <\/p>\n

Another supporter commented: \u201cJust about hanging in there by our finger nails. Painful.\u201d <\/p>\n

One fan added: \u201cDown to the wire, could go either way now.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMay the best team stay up. 2 wins and I think it\u2019s us. Come on Chelsea, time to shine,\u201d was another response.<\/p>\n

One fan responded with: \u201cThankfully, I\u2019m still optimistic we can squeeze to safety.\u201d<\/p>\n

All eyes on how West Ham react to Spurs draw <\/h2>\n

It will be fascinating to see how Nuno reacts to the Spurs draw. Sunday\u2019s opponents Newcastle have been turgid to watch for a while now, and the excellent home form upon which Eddie Howe built his success on Tyneside has deserted him this season. <\/p>\n

Still, West Ham\u2019s last few away performances have not been good enough. They should have beaten Crystal Palace last month and what happened against Brentford cannot be repeated. <\/p>\n

Clearly, West Ham are still up against it, but the door is slightly ajar for them now. They have to do their bit away from home, which hasn\u2019t been done enough this season. <\/p>\n
