Chelsea are working hard on appointing a new coach and seem to have narrowed their search down to a few candidates.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n If you enjoy Chelsea News coverage and want to see more of it, add us as a preferred source on Google to make us a favourite and see more of our content.<\/em><\/p>\n Chelsea want to appoint a new manager as quickly as possible, and every outlet out there wants the scoop on what the Blues will do next.<\/p>\n Yesterday there were reports that the club had already spoken to Andoni Iraola in person, seeming to cement the Bournemouth coach\u2019s status as favourite to get the job.<\/p>\n Today, however, an update from the Evening Standard\u2018s Dom Smith says that the Blues have also<\/em> now spoken to Xabi Alonso, the man who is gradually closing in on Iraola as favourite with the bookies.<\/p>\n The piece claims there are \u201cbetween five and six candidates being seriously considered for the job.\u201d<\/p>\n So that would be Iraola, Alonso, Marco Silva, Filipe Luis, Oliver Glasner\u2026 we wonder who the last one would be?
