Moises Caicedo has become the latest Chelsea player to switch agents according to journalist Ben Jacobs.<\/p>\n

The Ecuadorian international joined Chelsea for a then British record of \u00a3115m from Brighton in the summer of 2023, and has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Caicedo put pen to paper on a new contract last month, which saw his stay at Stamford Bridge extended until 2033.<\/p>\n

Fresh off signing a new deal, Jacobs took to X.com to report Caicedo had switched agents to CAA Base, with the timing perhaps slightly unusual.<\/p>\n

Switching agents isn\u2019t uncommon in football, but it\u2019s usually done in order to try and get a new contract, or to facilitate a move down the line.<\/p>\n

Caicedo has insisted he\u2019s very happy at Chelsea and still believes in the club\u2019s project despite a really difficult season.<\/p>\n

Like the majority of his team-mates, Caicedo has suffered a dip in form this season, which can partly be put to down to participation at the Club World Cup last summer.<\/p>\n

Caicedo put in a much improved performance against Liverpool, and the Blues will hope he\u2019s at his best for Saturday\u2019s FA Cup final against Manchester City.<\/p>\n
