Manchester United are reportedly continuing to closely monitor Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu, with a club official set to attend the player\u2019s next game tomorrow.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Kalulu has been on the radar of Man United and Liverpool for some time now after his impressive performances in Serie A, and it could be set to lead to a move this summer.<\/p>\n

The Frenchman, who can play centre-back or right-back, is valued at around \u20ac32m by Transfermarkt, and it seems the Red Devils will be watching him in Sunday\u2019s game between Juve and AC Milan, according to Tuttomercatoweb.<\/p>\n

The report doesn\u2019t actually specify if this is a United scout going to the game, merely a club \u2018official\u2019, so it could also be that someone will be heading there for talks of some kind.<\/p>\n

Do Manchester United need Pierre Kalulu?<\/h2>\n

Kalulu looks like a fine player and like someone who could strengthen this United defence next season, with the club surely in need of more options in that department.<\/p>\n

Matthijs de Ligt has had a lengthy absence through injury this season, while fitness has long been an issue for Lisandro Martinez as well.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the jury is still out on Leny Yoro, who perhaps hasn\u2019t quite lived up to expectations so far, so Kalulu could come in and make an impact straight away.<\/p>\n

All in all, this seems like a worthwhile deal that could be done on the cheap, even if some might argue that MUFC could also possibly do better to pay a bit more money for someone a little younger, and who\u2019s played in the Premier League.<\/p>\n
