As far as West Ham are concerned, it is the deal of the century where he basically gave them this amazing stadium for 100 years, rent-free.

“Now, if West Ham are relegated, we, the taxpayers, City Hall, could lose up to £2.5m a year. So what I say to Londoners who don’t support Spurs is you should probably be cheering on West Ham, because the taxpayer will lose out if West Ham go down.”

Why Spurs can be confident ahead of their trip to Chelsea

Tottenham have eight days off before they play Chelsea, and that time on the training ground will undoubtedly be valuable to Roberto De Zerbi as he continues putting his imprint on the side.

Spurs can take heart from Chelsea’s extremely poor form of late and in the knowledge that they will be much fresher, with the Blues set to be in FA Cup final action just three days before the London derby.

Given the performances Tottenham have delivered under De Zerbi so far, there is no reason to think they cannot get a result at Stamford Bridge, despite the club’s poor record at the stadium historically.

Have something to tell us about this article? Let us know

[4

post-7985","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-chelsea
["GET
