David Raya produced heroics once again as Arsenal secured a vital 1-0 win at West Ham on Sunday.<\/b><\/div>\n

The Spaniard’s superb save from Matues Fernandes denied West Ham an opening goal, and allowed Arsenal to go on and claim three precious points.<\/p>\n

With the midfielder in one-against-one, Raya stood firm to save in what could be a defining moment in Arsenal’s season.<\/p>\n

Raya’s clean sheet means he has already won the Premier League’s Golden Glove outright, securing a third straight award. He’s one of only three goalkeepers to have ever won the Golden Glove in three consecutive campaigns, after Pepe Reina and Joe Hart.<\/div>\n
The 30-year-old has now kept 47 clean sheets in 106 league games for Arsenal since signing for the Gunners from Brentford in 2023. His 44.3% clean sheet record ranks him fifth all-time in the Premier League, among goalkeepers to have made more than 50 appearances for a single club.<\/div>\n
Raya’s record is fractionally behind Peter Schmeichel, often cited as the greatest goalkeeper in Premier League history. The ‘Great Dane’ kept a clean sheet in 44.4% of his games for Manchester United.<\/div>\n

The aforementioned Reina is third on the list, with 47%, just behind ex-Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar.<\/p>\n

Van der Sar memorably claimed a record-breaking 14 consecutive clean sheets for the Red Devils in 2008\/09, setting a new world record after going 1,311 minutes without conceding in the league.<\/p>\n

Petr Cech holds the best clean sheet percentage in Premier League history. He achieved clean sheets in 48.6% of his Premier League games for Chelsea.<\/div>\n

Cech’s record-breaking feats at Chelsea include the most clean sheets in a Premier League season (24), set in 2004\/05. His 202 career clean sheets in the division is also a Premier League record.<\/p>\n
