Joao Pedro has opened up about his evolution at Chelsea, revealing that he specifically requested a change in position since moving to Stamford Bridge.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Joao Pedro has quickly established himself as a focal point of Chelsea\u2019s attack following his high-profile move from Brighton. Despite a turbulent season for the club, the Brazilian has thrived by committing to a dedicated No. 9 role. <\/p>\n

Speaking in interviews with\u00a0TNT Sports\u00a0and\u00a0Lance!, Joao Pedro gave his honest thoughts on the positions he has found himself in throughout his career. <\/p>\n

\u201cSince I arrived at Chelsea, I made it very clear because at Watford I played as a No.10, as a No.9. At Brighton too. But since coming here, it\u2019s something I pushed for a lot \u2013 I wanted to play only as a No.9.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you keep changing positions, you lose some of the feeling for the role. Since the start of the season, I\u2019ve been working a lot with Chelsea\u2019s staff, always trying to improve in some aspects.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Chelsea\u2019s striker options are limited as they are<\/h2>\n
