Xabi Alonso will face the same \u201cproblem\u201d at Chelsea as he experienced at Real Madrid and has been told to \u201cwatch out\u201d for two Blues stars.<\/p>\n
Alonso has emerged as the \u2018favourite\u2019 to take over at Stamford Bridge<\/strong> this summer and is said to be open to the possibility despite his clear preference being Liverpool.<\/p>\n With Arne Slot in place at Anfield and going nowhere, Alonso could land at Chelsea, who must \u201cgive him the keys\u201d if he\u2019s to be a success, according to Chelsea hero Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t think he did that badly at Real Madrid,\u201d Hasselbaink said of Alonso on Sky Sports News<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously what is expected at Real Madrid is being at the top all season but I think he was still within touching distance of Barcelona.<\/p>\n \u201cThe problem is he wants to manage how he wants to manage and he feels that the players have to follow him.
