Manchester United and Chelsea have met with one of the most in-demand managers in world football as speculation continues around who will be in the dugout at both clubs next season. <\/strong><\/p>\n

As we enter the final weeks of the season, a number of managers are preparing to say goodbye to their current clubs, including Andoni Iraola.<\/p>\n

Iraola will leave Bournemouth when his contract expires at the end of June, a decision he says was not motivated by the prospect of managing another Premier League club amid mounting speculation.<\/p>\n

“The decision was not about any other club, there was no other club involved. It was about either continuing here or not continuing here,” Iraola said in April.<\/p>\n

“I don’t know what I want to do next season. I don’t know if I am going to coach a team, a club. I don’t know if I am going to coach an international team. I don’t know if I am going to coach in this continent. I have no idea what is going to happen.”<\/p>\n

That being said, Iraola continues to be linked with a Premier League switch, with two teams in particular \u2013 Manchester United and Chelsea \u2013 being mentioned for weeks.<\/p>\n

United have secured Champions League football under interim Michael Carrick, who has won 10 and drawn three of his 15 games so far, and it appears the former midfielder could be in line for a permanent appointment.<\/p>\n

In fact, The Guardian suggests ‘the current indications’ are that they will stick with Carrick, although the report claims United have met with Iraola as those behind the scenes at Old Trafford consider their options.<\/p>\n

Chelsea, meanwhile, are on the lookout for a new manager after they decided to part ways with Liam Rosenior.<\/p>\n

Xabi Alonso and Marco Silva are believed to be on the club’s shortlist alongside Oliver Glasner and Iraola, with the above report also claiming that the Blues have met with the current Bournemouth boss to talk to him about the role.<\/p>\n

Fabregas has also been suggested as a potential Chelsea boss, having impressed at Serie A club Como. However, the former midfielder has suggested he’s in no rush to leave his current role in Italy.<\/p>\n

Speaking to The Telegraph, Fabregas said: \u201cThe Premier League is the best league in the world. I\u2019ve always been very, very clear about it. I felt it as a player, I feel it as a coach, as a fan.<\/p>\n

“But (Jos\u00e9) Mourinho told me one day when I was at Chelsea \u2018I still have 30 years to work\u2019. So I could be here (Como) for 10 years, and you can still go to the Premier League in 12, 15 years.<\/p>\n

\u201cFootball is so unpredictable, it changes in one second. One day, you are the best. The day after, you are the worst. So let\u2019s enjoy the moment. I like to enjoy the moment. It\u2019s beautiful what we are living here. Let\u2019s see what the future holds.\u201d<\/p>\n
