However, Bayern have yet to reach an agreement with the Magpies, who are seeking \u00a375 million or more for the England international.<\/p>\n
There is optimism that an agreement will be reached, allowing Gordon to join international teammate Harry Kane at Bayern.<\/p>\n
The Bavarians are prioritising signing a winger this summer, with Luis Diaz and Michael Olise the only natural wingers in their squad.<\/p>\n
The Bundesliga champions have made Gordon a top target and could now be on the verge of signing him.<\/p>\n
The 25-year-old is also being courted by Arsenal and Chelsea, who are both interested in signing a wide attacker.<\/p>\n
The English winger can play anywhere across the frontline, but would find it difficult to break into Bayern\u2019s starting line-up.<\/p>\n
Kane is the undisputed first-choice striker, while Diaz and Olise have both secured their starting berth on the flanks.<\/p>\n
They have been instrumental to Bayern\u2019s success this season and are arguably the best attacking trio in Europe.<\/p>\n
Gordon has scored 17 goals across all competitions this season, fewer than Kane (55), Diaz (26) and Olise (22). The Bayern trio are rarely injured, making rotation difficult.<\/p>\n
Gordon should consider moving to a club where he would play regularly. Chelsea could be a good destination, as he would be an upgrade on Pedro Neto and Alejandro Garnacho.<\/p>\n
