Barcelona are planning to begin negotiations to sign Joao Pedro soon with talks still in an early stage according to reports.<\/p>\n

Chelsea signed Pedro last summer from Brighton in a deal worth up to \u00a360m, and he\u2019s hit the ground running at Stamford Bridge.<\/p>\n

The Brazilian has scored 20 goals in all competitions, with 15 of those coming in the Premier League, and it\u2019shard to argue against him being Chelsea\u2019s best player this season.<\/p>\n

Barcelona plan to begin negotiations for Joao Pedro<\/h2>\n

Pedro has made the number nine position his own, and has easily fought off competition from Liam Delap, who also joined last summer.<\/p>\n

The Brazil international will likely play a big role at the World Cup this summer, and his form this season hasn\u2019t gone unnoticed.<\/p>\n

Pedro is said to be attracting interest from Barcelona, and GE.Globo have reported the La Liga side are planning to begin negotiations soon to sign the striker.<\/p>\n

The report adds although talks are in early stages it\u2019s thought the deal could be worth around \u00a386m, including a fixed amount and bonuses.<\/p>\n

Despite interest from Barcelona, Chelsea are said to have made their stance very clear that Pedro isn\u2019t for sale this summer. <\/p>\n

James hasn\u2019t started a game since March, but played his first minutes since then as a second half substitute against Liverpool last weekend.<\/p>\n
