All focus at Chelsea is currently on the upcoming FA Cup final against Manchester City, although it may not be long before they are in discussions over a big-name player sale.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Blues have a chance to bring some enjoyment back to the 2025\/26 campaign at Wembley, after their woeful second half of the season in the Premier League.<\/p>\n

Very few Chelsea players have lived up to the expectations they have set, although one of those who can leave the season with his head held high is Joao Pedro.<\/p>\n

Chelsea could start Joao Pedro sale talks straight after FA Cup final<\/h2>\n

The Brazilian has 15 Premier League goals to his name this season, with none of those coming from the penalty spot to boost his numbers.<\/p>\n

His instant impact has not left him short of suitors in the upcoming summer transfer window, although it is Barcelona who are making a serious move to bring him in.<\/p>\n

As a matter of fact, GE Globo are now reporting that the two sides could enter talks over a potential deal as soon as the Blues no longer have anything to play for this summer, in theory after the final.<\/p>\n

The report goes on to say that a deal would cost in the region of \u00a387m, with the forward only joining the club less than 12 months ago.<\/p>\n

There are fears that Chelsea will have to part ways with one of their big-name stars in order to balance the books, even if they are victorious at Wembley on Saturday.<\/p>\n

Chelsea\u2019s stance on Joao Pedro<\/h2>\n

Despite Chelsea\u2019s reported need to part ways with a big name, they are determined for that not to be their summer signing.<\/p>\n

Chelsea have shut the door on Pedro leaving the club this summer, despite initial conversations involving his agent and the Catalan club.<\/p>\n

The Blues will also not want to part ways with a player this effective in a time where they are looking to hire a new permanent first team manager.<\/p>\n

Xabi Alonso is currently the favourite to become the new Chelsea boss after positive talks between all parties.<\/p>\n
