Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed that Adama Traore has suffered an injury heading into Sunday\u2019s game with Newcastle United. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The January signing\u00a0hasn\u2019t\u00a0played for West Ham United since\u00a0coming off the bench at\u00a0Brentford\u00a0earlier this month and it remains to be seen if he can feature in next weekend\u2019s clash with Leeds. <\/p>\n

Traore has only made\u00a012\u00a0appearances for the club since\u00a0joining from\u00a0Fulham, despite working with Nuno at Wolves. <\/p>\n

Adama Traore is West Ham\u2019s only injury ahead of Newcastle clash <\/h2>\n

Asked about the latest team news ahead of Newcastle versus West Ham, Nuno said: \u201cWe have Adama who is out for this game, but the rest of the squad is good.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was not available for Arsenal, and he\u2019ll miss this one.\u201d<\/p>\n

The fact that the Hammers boss has largely a fully fit squad from which to choose is obviously a huge boost. <\/p>\n

Three points for West Ham would take them out of the relegation zone with just one game to play, although Tottenham could overtake them if they beat Chelsea on Tuesday night. <\/p>\n

The Irons simply have to beat Newcastle on Sunday and not having any fresh injuries to deal with is clearly a boost on that front. <\/p>\n

West Ham\u2019s away form has been poor in recent weeks, but Nuno has to go on the attack on Tyneside. <\/p>\n

As such, it would not be a surprise to see him revert to the 4-4-2 shape that has broadly served him well since mid-January onwards. <\/p>\n

Pablo Felipe is an option to replace Jean-Clair Todibo, although fans will no doubt be hoping to see Callum Wilson start the game against his former club. <\/p>\n

The rest of the team has\u00a0largely picked\u00a0itself in recent months, with West Ham\u00a0generally unchanged\u00a0over the last few months aside from tactical tweaks at times. <\/p>\n
