Names like Enzo Fernández, Nicolas Jackson, Marc Cucurella, Axel Disasi, Benoît Badiashile and Liam Delap could all be heading for the exit. Narrowing that list down, here are five players who will never play for Chelsea again. Some are already out the door, while others are effectively finished at the club, and here is why these departures are now inevitable.

Axel Disasi — certain sale

Disasi is as good as gone. While the Frenchman has actually looked decent at West Ham since his January loan, starting 11 straight games, it hasn’t changed his standing back in West London. Chelsea are simply stacked with centre-halves, and the plan this summer is to cash in permanently. To be honest, there is no way back for him at the Bridge. He’s been shipped out on loan twice now, and the club have clearly moved on.

Benoît Badiashile — some dirty

Badiashile has slipped to third-choice left-footed center-back, making a summer sale a dead certainty. In fact, he’s likely already played his last minutes for the club. With Mamadou Sarr’s emergence as an AFCON winner and his immediate impact in the starting XI, Badiashile has been totally overtaken. For a £35 million investment, this has turned into a massive disappointment for everyone involved.

Liam Delap — certain sale

Chelsea have been blunt with Delap’s camp: find a new club. The board wants a straight sale, though loan-to-buy offers are on the table too. Delap isn’t keen on leaving after just one year and thinks he can still turn it around, but his fate likely rests with whoever takes the manager’s seat next. While his desire to stay is a nice sentiment, Chelsea’s stance is crystal clear. One Premier League goal tells you everything you need to know about why he’s on the list.

Nicolas Jackson — most likely sale

The writing is on the wall for Jackson. He was sent to Bayern Munich after Joao Pedro and Liam Delap arrived, and, to nobody’s surprise, he hasn’t been able to budge Harry Kane from the lineup in Germany. He’s expected to be moved on properly this summer, and there’s plenty of interest. I expect Chelsea to pull the trigger on a sale; his relationship with the old coaching staff is dead, and with Joao Pedro now the undisputed number one, there’s just no room left.

Manchester United linked with summer transfer move for £24m Arsenal target

Alejandro Garnacho — most likely sale

Garnacho finally moved to Chelsea in August, but the move has been a total bust. His time at Stamford Bridge has been a massive letdown. We saw a similar story with Pedro Neto. He arrived with huge hype, but played it too safe and ended up frustrating the fans. Garnacho is in that same boat, being expensive, hit-and-miss, and surplus to requirements. Any new manager coming in will want to clear the decks and bring in their own people immediately.

Chelsea plotting to hijack Liverpool’s move for £80m Salah replacement

The bigger picture for Stamford Bridge this summer

Chelsea are enduring a nightmare season. With no European football on the horizon for 2026–27, the squad is due for a massive shake-up. These five players who will never play for Chelsea again are the biggest proof yet that BlueCo are ready to gut the squad and start over, even if the fans are rightly losing faith in the rebuild process.

[4

post-9018","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-chelsea
["GET
