Tottenham Hotspur versatile full-back Djed Spence is now the latest to be linked with a move away from north London as Spurs continue to fight relegation.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tottenham Hotspur supporters are desperate for their side to avoid a drop to the Championship this season. As things stand, Spurs are far from safe, with West Ham United still breathing down their neck with two games remaining.<\/p>\n

However, survival remains in Tottenham\u2019s hands and, should the Lilywhites pick up four points from their final two fixtures, they will secure their Premier League status for next season.<\/p>\n

Tottenham face Djed Spence concern amid Juventus interest<\/h2>\n

Unfortunately for Spurs, back-to-back slip-ups in the final games of the season, combined with West Ham outperforming them, would bring an end to Tottenham\u2019s Premier League stay.<\/p>\n

That would be disastrous for the Lilywhites, with relegation expected to have a major impact on the club. According to CaughtOffside, Spurs could lose versatile full-back Djed Spence should they drop into the Championship.<\/p>\n

Spence has become an important part of Tottenham\u2019s squad in recent seasons despite a difficult start to life in north London. It is now claimed that Juventus are keen on signing the defender this summer, although there could also be interest from English clubs. <\/p>\n

However, sources close to Tottenham have reportedly ruled out a sale for Spence and several other key players, with the Englishman expected to expire in 2029. <\/p>\n

Even so, many in the industry still anticipate player exits, and Spence is viewed as one of the more likely to depart.<\/p>\n

Spurs may need player sales if relegation happens<\/h2>\n

Should Tottenham suffer relegation, the club could face revenue losses of around \u00a3261m, meaning there would be a clear need to sell players to ease pressure on the wage bill.<\/p>\n

That is why Spence is being viewed as a sellable asset for Spurs this summer. It is further claimed Tottenham could consider a \u00a334m (\u20ac40m) sale, while also removing his reported \u00a387,000-per-week wages from the books \u2013 a cost-cutting measure which may become necessary if the club were to play in the Championship next season.<\/p>\n
