CHELSEA legend Gary Cahill has challenged the team\u2019s young stars to \u201cstep into their roles\u201d and help get the Blues back on top.<\/p>\n
And the former club captain warned that they\u2019d have to be able to adapt to the new manager\u2019s wishes right away.<\/p>\n
\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSign up for the Football<\/span> newsletter\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\tThank you!\t\t\t\t\t<\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n Cahill, 40, won two Premier League titles, two FA Cups and the Champions League among many other trophies during his spell with the club.<\/p>\n He spoke to The U.S. Sun after watching Saturday\u2019s FA Cup final loss to Manchester City with Chelsea fans in Chicago \u2013 and before Xabi Alonso was appointed as new boss.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s the next stage for these young players now,\u201d Cahill said.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve said before that we need patience, but we can\u2019t keep saying young players \u2013 they need to step into their roles.<\/p>\n \u201cIn terms of experience, Enzo is one player that seems to be in a leadership role.
