The west London side’s 3-0 defeat against Nottingham Forest also brought injury concerns. Teenage attacker Jesse Derry suffered a head injury and had to leave the field on a stretcher. Fans inside Stamford Bridge applauded the youngster as medical staff treated him after his knock.
