Supercomputer predicts odds of West Ham sending Tottenham into bottom three on Sunday
Opta’s Supercomputer has predicted how likely West Ham United are to hand Tottenham Hotspur a massive blow by beating Newcastle United on Sunday.
Spurs failed to take the opportunity to open up a four-point gap with West Ham on Monday, as they were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Leeds.

West Ham play before them once again on Matchweek 37, and should they win at Newcastle, they will leapfrog Spurs, who have to travel to Stamford Bridge for a London derby next Tuesday.
Supercomputer says West Ham are unlikely to hand Tottenham a huge blow on Sunday

According to Opta’s Supercomputer, Newcastle are big favourites to beat West Ham, even though the Magpies have little to play for.
The data analysis platform gives Newcastle a 46.2 per cent chance of beating the Hammers. The chances of West Ham winning and moving a point clear of Spurs are rated at 29.8 per cent.
A draw, which would leave Nuno Espirito Santo’s men just a point off Tottenham, has been given a 24 per cent chance.
Why Sunday’s result will likely decide Spurs’ fate
While Tottenham’s fate is in their own hands, it would be a huge psychological blow to the players if they are in the relegation zone when they walk out onto the pitch in West London next Tuesday.
The pressure would intensify greatly, and Chelsea players and fans will be really up for the occasion as they will see it as a golden opportunity to be the ones to relegate Spurs.
However, anything other than a West Ham win on Sunday will leave De Zerbi’s men in the driver’s seat in their quest for survival.
