Chalobah wants new “achievement” for his team 8 years on

Trevoh Chalobah has been speaking about Chelsea’s latest final and his desire to end a frustrating run in domestic finals.

Trevoh Chalobah is a Chelsea player who still wants to lift his first domestic trophy (excluding the 2018 FA Cup where he was technically in the squad) and tomorrow he has a great chance to do just that when we face Man City at Wembley.

“This final means a lot. We’ve been up and down at Wembley over recent years, and this one means a lot for the players and the fans. We want to win this,” Chalobah said to the club’s official website.

“It’s time for us to grab it with both hands and give it our all. It has not been the season we wanted, but we have the chance to win a trophy. We know how big the FA Cup is, and to win three trophies in two years would be an achievement.”

It has indeed been a painful run for Chelsea at Wembley – six finals in a row without a win. Trevoh has been around for most of them. And tomorrow we’re certainly not favoured. But anything is possible, and this City team are by no means invincible.
