Local reporter says Chelsea have signed Valentin Barco!

Having a sister club under the same ownership umbrella does allow you to easily move players between the two clubs, and it looks like this is what Chelsea are now doing with Strasbourg this summer.
Strasbourg midfielder Valentin Barco said his goodbyes to the club yesterday, and he’s been heavily rumoured to be heading to Chelsea at the end of this season.
All signs point towards Chelsea, and journalists appear to be confirming that as well after the announcement from the player yesterday.
Barco to Chelsea
Argentine reporter Uriel Lugt confirms on X that Barco will be heading to Chelsea at the end of the season.
As well as that, another Argentine reporter German Garcia Grova of TyC Sports has reported similar. He says:
‘Chelsea signs Valentine Boat. The negotiations were straightforward. Long-term deal.’
These are two pretty good sources, so it does look like this one is happening now for Chelsea.
