Chelsea have endured a difficult campaign, highlighted by their failure to qualify for the Champions League.

Saturday’s loss to Manchester City in the FA Cup final means they will also end the season trophyless.

Chelsea are now ready to make changes to their squad as they prepare for life under new manager Xabi Alonso.

The Daily Mail claims they are ready to sell Liam Delap, Alejandro Garnacho, Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile, Filip Jorgensen and Axel Disasi.

Disasi is on loan at relegation-threatened West Ham United, while others have played mainly as substitutes this season.

Wesley Fofana’s future is also not safe, as there are concerns that he will not fit Alonso’s ‘mentality monsters’ criteria.

Centre-backs Josh Acheampong and Mamadou Sarr are expected to depart on loan.

Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer are ‘untouchable’

Chelsea will not entertain offers for Joao Pedro and Cole Palmer, given their significant status in the team.

Pedro has been brilliant since joining from Brighton & Hove Albion last summer. He is the club’s leading top scorer, with 20 goals and nine assists.

The Brazilian has been linked with Barcelona, who are exploring the market for Robert Lewandowski’s replacement.

Palmer has struggled for form, but he is still considered a vital player. He has registered just 10 goals and three assists across all competitions.

The England international has been linked with Manchester United, but a move this summer is unlikely.

Pedro and Palmer are expected to play significant roles under Alonso, alongside Moises Caicedo, Levi Colwill and Reece James.
