Chelsea take on Leeds in the FA Cup semi final tonight, with a lot on the line.

The Blues have utterly embarrassed themselves with recent performances, as the squad almost universally downed tools in order to get Liam Rosenior sacked. Well, they’ve got their wish, and now need to raise their game again.

Chelsea to “attack the game” at Wembley

Rosenior’s replacement, interim manager Calum McFarlane, spoke before the game about what kind of an approach his team would take.

“We want to attack the game. We want to be aggressive in every phase of the game and we want to have complete control of it, and ultimately win the game,” McFarlane said in quotes picked up by the club’s official website.

“I think that’s the best way to win games of football. I think that’s the best way for this team to win games of football.

“But there’s also an opponent who wants to do the same, so we have to be better than them in every area. That will be the challenge on Sunday.”

We will be able to tell within minutes if his team have decided to start trying again.

In other news…

Barcelona are keen on a Chelsea player, but it’s one of the few that the Blues are probably looking to hold onto.

Antonio Conte has been linked with a return to Chelsea, but we can’t see it happening any time soon.
