Chelsea vs Tottenham – Team News: Four changes for Chelsea
Chelsea face Tottenham at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League in just over an hour, and the team news for the game is in!
We expected a few changes from Calum McFarlane given we played on Saturday afternoon, and we’ve got four of them in the end.
First up the injury prone boys drop out. Reece James leaves midfield and Levi Colwill the back line after racking up serious minutes on Saturday. James is replaced in midfield by Andrey Santos, while Colwill is replaced by Jorrel Hato in the back line, the left back sliding inside from left back.
At right back, Malo Gusto is rested after playing a lot recently. Young Josh Acheampong comes in to replace him.
Up front, Joao Pedro drops out as predicted, with Liam Delap replacing him. Marc Cucurella drops from a left wing position to left back and Pedro Neto makes a first start in a few months replacing him.
Here are the full team line-ups for Chelsea vs Tottenham (kick off at 20:15 GMT)
CHELSEA:

We can’t say we’re too confident in this team, which lacks its best centre back, its best striker and its best full back. But there is enough quality in there to win a game if this team actually beliebe in themselves.
In other news…
Chelsea star Joao Pedro will not be going to the World Cup with Brazil – it’s surprising, but it’s also great news for the Blues in many ways.
It was a well deserved POTS award for the striker in any case, as he put together a strong second half of the season.
