Joao Pedro and Levi Colwill touch and go ahead of final Chelsea game of the season
Reece James was only fit enough for the bench, and there was no sighting of Levi Colwill or Joao Pedro in the matchday squad.
The centre-back has only just returned from a serious knee injury with two intense 90 minute appearances, while the Brazilian has shown signs of fatigue in recent weeks.

McFarlane told Kieran Gill after the game that he was unsure whether the pair, as well as the club captain, were going to be fit enough to be in the squad to face Sunderland on Sunday.
He said: “Calum McFarlane says it’s a “wait and see” re whether Joao Pedro, Levi Colwill, Reece James can face Sunderland in Sunday’s season finale.”

Chelsea maintain slim European hopes
Chelsea’s unlikely chances of qualifying for the Champions League came to an end with Bournemouth’s point against Manchester City, a result which saw Arsenal crowned Premier League champions.
However, the Blues do still have the chance to qualify for the Europa League or Conference League, providing they avoid defeat against Sunderland.
It remains to be seen if the Xabi Alonso era could do without the distraction of European football, especially in a competition that they have won every single time they have been in it.
