West Ham ace tipped for Barcelona transfer; Crysencio Summerville is ‘absolutely going’
The phrase ‘falling upwards’ may come to mind when reports emerge linking some members of West Ham United’s recently-relegated squad with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Paris Saint-Germain.
Yet, despite an eventual 18th place finish, Mateus Fernandes, Jarrod Bowen and Crysencio Summerville still stood out for largely positive reasons.
Fernandes is seemingly the man to revamp Manchester United’s midfield alongside namesake, and fellow Portugal international, Bruno. Bowen is keeping his options open, and interest from a handful of Champions League clubs would surely test even his loyalty.

Roma, Napoli and Chelsea have all been mentioned as potential destinations for Crysencio Summerville.
Though Suleyman Ozturk, a pundit for Dutch publication Voetbal International, feels that West Ham United’s number seven could potentially aim even higher.
Barcelona tipped to reunite Raphinha with West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville
Raphinha has blossomed into one of Europe’s most ruthless forwards since moving to Barcelona from Leeds United in 2022.
Ozturk can envisage a world in which the Spanish champions reunite Raphinha with Summerville at the Camp Nou, especially as a left-winger to replace Man United loanee Marcus Rashford is a must this summer.
“That boy has already played quite a lot at the second level with Leeds. He has already been Player of the Year in the Championship,” Ozturk says. “This season, he has promoted himself (with his good performances).
“So, he is absolutely going to another club in the Premier League. That could be Arsenal. Or Liverpool. Top clubs are going to fight for him, so he can choose from a number of clubs.
“I can imagine Raphinha dropping his name internally at FC Barcelona. Raphinha would then say: ‘(Summerville is ) a good lad to have on the side. Rashford is an expensive option. We can integrate Summerville into the plans.’”
