Chelsea’s Trevoh Chalobah has chosen his next club
Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah is pushing for a move to Inter Milan this summer, however he will run into the same issues there he has faced at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea are open to the departure of Chalobah this summer, as they look to revolutionise the defence for new manager Xabi Alonso.
Maxence Lacroix has been identified as the top target for a new centre-back, ultimately making the competition for places too great for Chalobah.

Trevoh Chalobah has made a mistake choosing Inter Milan as his next club
After links to Italy, journalist Mateo Barzaghi has stated that Chalobah has more of a preference to join Inter Milan than Cesc Fabregas‘ Como this summer.
He stated on YouTube: “There’s also one more rumour circulating: Chelsea could be open to a loan deal. Personally, I find that very unlikely with Como, who are ready to put €30 million on the table plus €5 million in bonuses—very close to the €40 million Chelsea are asking for. We’ve already said that asking price is negotiable, so the deal could be completed for around €35 million.
“Chalobah would prefer to join Inter, but don’t put too much into that. We were burned before by the story that Palestra wanted to stay in Italy, had chosen Inter to continue his development, and then you saw where he ended up. In the end, it’s the money that talks. Increase the player’s salary offer enough and all previous preferences can change.”
If the England international is wanting a comfortable path to regular first team football, Inter would not be the best choice of club to join.
The Serie A giants already have Alessandro Bastoni and Yann Bisseck in their squad, and added former Manchester City man Manuel Akanji to their squad 12 months ago.
Barring any major sales this summer, it looks extremely difficult for anyone to break in as a regular option at the back.

While Como have impressive youngster Jacobo Ramon in their side, there are no other notable names who play at centre-back, and featuring regularly there looks far more achievable.
Featuring for them would also not remove his chance to feature in the Champions League next season, after Fabregas’ side earned that luxury for next season.
The Blues will be more concerned with banking pure profit from the academy graduate though, as they look to continue to strengthen their side this summer.
