The 2026 summer transfer window is well underway and a number of blockbuster deals are expected to be formally announced in the coming weeks.
So far this summer, Tottenham Hotspur have been by far the busiest club in the transfer market as they look to bounce back from two consecutive 17th-placed finishes in the Premier League. They have spent over €260 million on Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke, Andrew Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka in a huge statement of intent under new boss Roberto De Zerbi.
They have also been linked with Bournemouth forward Eli Junior Kroupi, although Arsenal are interested too.
Chelsea have signed Marco Palestra, Geovany Quenda, Emmanuel Emegha, Dastan Satpaev and Denner so far this summer, while they have sold Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid and Tyrique George to Everton.
Manchester City have announced the arrival of Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson for a club-record fee, in addition to winger Mathys Detourbet from Troyes and wonderkid Jeremy Monga from Leicester, while Manchester United have reached agreements to sign Karl Darlow and Andrey Santos, though their move for Ederson has spectacularly broken down at the last.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are in advanced discussions to sign Bruno Guimaraes and Morgan Rogers, from Newcastle United and Aston Villa respectively.
Liverpool look set to miss out on top target Yan Diomande, who wants to join Paris Saint-Germain, but they have already signed Osasuna winger Victor Munoz and Stade Rennais defender Jeremy Jacquet so far this summer.
On the continent, Barcelona have signed Newcastle United forward Anthony Gordon for €80m, and their El Clasico rivals Real Madrid have purchased the aforementioned Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries.
Bayern Munich have completed a deal for Eintracht Frankfurt full-back Nathaniel Brown and AC Milan have signed Paris Saint-Germain striker Goncalo Ramos.
