Chelsea exit ‘in the next few hours’
Como are pushing ahead with their move for the Chelsea defender. They are now aiming to close a deal worth €31-32 ‘in the next few hours’.

The deal for the Chelsea defender is ‘almost done’. Como are set to secure one of the most significant signings of their transfer campaign this summer.
The Italian side want to build a strong squad for the Champions League, and now negotiations with Chelsea for Trevoh Chalobah can ‘be considered all but finalised’.
€32m deal for Blues
Inter Milan had shown an interest in the player, however, Como have pushed ahead of them and managed to ‘gain the upper hand’ in that particular battle. They are now in a position to ‘seal the deal’ for the England international.
An agreement is now in place between Como and Chelsea for a deal worth €32m. That figure is made up of a fixed component and a series of performance-related bonuses.
The deal is seen as a significant one. The newspaper says it ‘once again confirms’ Como’s ambitions and the financial stability at the Italian club. They want to provide Cesc Fabregas with the best possible squad for next season. The aim is to continue the rapid development they’ve enjoyed in recent years.
With England now out of the World Cup – barring the third placed play-off on Saturday – there are also no barriers to signing the Chelsea defender. With a deal in place, the matter is now progressing quickly.
