Chelsea open to offers for five players in huge £136m summer overhaul
Chelsea are set for a huge summer in the transfer window as Xabi Alonso looks to put a side together that could help him achieve his aim of bringing silverware to Stamford Bridge, so this will see the club acquire several players, but they will also need to bid farewell to others.
Now it appears that they are willing to be open to offers for five players this summer, which could see them gather around £136 million to help in their transfer incomings.
However, fans may not be surprised that these five players are several that have failed to sparkle since joining the club, and so they may not be disappointed with seeing them leave Stamford Bridge.
The only concern that Chelsea and their fans will have is attempting to recoup the fees they spent on these players when they agree to the selling price for these individuals.
Alejandro Garnacho is one of the names being reported by A Bola, whom Chelsea are willing to bid farewell to, with the Argentine international costing the club a fee of £40 million; however, it could be difficult for them to secure a similar fee from teams who may be interested in him.

This is a similar story for the other four players, such as Filip Jorgensen, who cost £20.8 million from Villarreal, while Axel Disasi, the French centre-back, signed from Monaco, cost £38 million.
His compatriot Benoît Badiashile, while not as expensive as Disasi, did cost a total of £32.3 million from Monaco, with the final player the club are willing to bid farewell to being Liam Delap.
The former Ipswich Town striker, who impressed in the Premier League with the Tractor Boys, cost the club £30 million as they met his release clause.
Should Chelsea be able to recover all the fees spent on these players, it would be equal to a total fee of around £160 million; however, the club are estimating they could lose some of their investment.
This report also suggested that Alonso has the players he will not even consider selling, with this including seven players, notably England internationals Reece James, Cole Palmer, and Levi Colwill.
The other four include South Americans Moises Caicedo, Joao Pedro and Estêvão, with England underage international Joshua Acheampong being highly rated by the club.
