The 2026 summer transfer window is well underway and several major deals are expected to be announced following the conclusion of the World Cup.

The likes of Julian Alvarez, Michael Olise and Yan Diomande have all been heavily linked with high-profile moves ahead of Deadline Day, and transfer rumours are set to ramp up over the next few weeks as clubs prepare for the 2026-27 campaign.

Tottenham Hotspur have spent the most money of any team in world football so far this summer, spending €2567 million on Sandro Tonali, Mateus Fernandes, Jan Paul van Hecke, Andrew Robertson, Marcos Senesi and Martin Dubravka after two dreadful Premier League seasons in a row.

Meanwhile, their north London rivals Arsenal have signed Piero Hincapie on a permanent deal, following his loan spell at the club last season, and they have completed the Bosman signing of Illan Meslier from Leeds United. The Gunners have also agreed a deal to sign Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis, but they appear to have missed out on Morgan Rogers, who is on the verge of joining Chelsea for a British record fee of €138m.

Rogers will become the latest player to move to Stamford Bridge this summer when his move is officially announced, with the Blues having already added Marco Palestra, Geovany Quenda, Emmanuel Emegha, Dastan Satpaev and Denner to Xabi Alonso’s squad. Meanwhile, they have sold Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid, Andrey Santos to Manchester United and Tyrique George to Everton. Youngster Jesse Derry has been sent on loan to Sporting CP for the season.

Manchester City have landed Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson for a club-record fee, Mathys Detourbet from Troyes, Jeremy Monga from Leicester City and Pierce Charles from Sheffield Wednesday. Their rivals Man Utd have purchased Youri Tielemans, Karl Darlow and the aforementioned Santos.

Liverpool have bolstered Andoni Iraola’s team with the signings of Osasuna winger Victor Munoz and Stade Rennais defender Jeremy Jacquet.

Away from England, Barcelona have signed Newcastle United forward Anthony Gordon for €80m, while their El Clasico rivals Real Madrid have purchased Cucurella, Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries.

Bayern Munich have completed a deal for Eintracht Frankfurt left-back Nathaniel Brown and AC Milan have signed PSG centre forward Goncalo Ramos for €74m.
