Alex Scott rejects new Bournemouth deal as Man Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool circle for midfield star
Bournemouth have offered Scott an improved deal as the Cherries look to secure the 22-year-old’s future at the club.
Scott has two years to run on the contract he signed when joining Bournemouth from Bristol City for a fee of £25m in 2023.
Bournemouth value the midfielder in excess of £60m, though will hope to attract larger bids given the inflated midfielder market this summer.
Elliot Anderson has joined Manchester City from Nottingham Forest for a fee of £116m, while Morgan Rogers is set to sign for Chelsea from Aston Villa for £117m. The latter deal will eclipse Anderson’s transfer as the most expensive involving an English footballer.
Though yet to debut for England, he was called into the senior squad last November and was also involved in Thomas Tuchel’s pre-World Cup training camp in Florida.
