PL Quartet Looking to Secure England Star
The summer transfer window is beginning to reach a crescendo, following the conclusion of the 2026 World Cup. One player in particular is hitting the headlines – none other than Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
A slew of top clubs are looking to sign him this summer, following a successful season with Barcelona in La Liga and his subsequent inclusion in the England squad.
According to a report from The I, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are all looking to formulate a move for the 28-year-old. He previously had a release clause of £40 million in place, but The Athletic reports that this has now expired.
This clause was available to all clubs except Manchester City and Liverpool. Now, any team looking to sign him will need to negotitate.
Furthermore, David Ornstein on The Athletic podcast stated that United are unwilling to sell Rashford to another team in the Premier League – it is understood that Rashford himself does not want to play for any other English club, either.
Fenerbahce have emerged as a surprise candidate to bring Rashford on board. According to TalkSPORT, the Turkish giants are ‘interested’, but the player may need some convincing to make this prospective transfer a reality.
Having been on loan at Barcelona last season, the La Liga champions were given the option to sign him on a permanent basis for £26 million, but they turned the opportunity down (via The Sun). On top of all this, The Independent reported that Real Madrid could also be in the mix.
As such, Rashford’s future is in limbo at the moment. It seems that United no longer have a place for him in the squad, but with so many potential suitors, who knows where he might end up?

Would Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs benefit from signing Marcus Rashford?
We all know what Rashford is all about. A lightning-quick inside forward with lethal finishing, he has often been let down by inconsistency throughout his career.
Nevertheless, if he can remain fit and focused, he would be an excellent asset to anyone who can snap him up. With Leandro Trossard having left the club and Gabriel Martinelli touted for an exit, Arsenal could certainly benefit from bringing him on board.
Likewise, Chelsea also need to make additions out wide. They have just signed Morgan Rogers from Aston Villa for £117 million, which will limit their financial pull, but it is unclear if he will play centrally or as a winger as things stand.
Finally, Spurs could also do with a new left winger in their squad. Wilson Odobert and Manor Solomon are both unproven and injury-prone, while the likes of Mohammed Kudus, Dejan Kulusevski and Min-heoyk Yang are right-sided wingers.
All three clubs would have something to gain by bringing Rashford to the club, but it remains to be seen if he can be persuaded – and if they can reach an agreement with the Red Devils.
