Manchester United and Manchester City submit offers
Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea are pursuing a deal for Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga this summer.
On June 22nd, we relayed news of Manchester United and Chelsea making approaches for the midfielder, valued at €60m.
Two weeks later, Sport Witness covered claims from Spain that Manchester City were considering the 23-year-old, after Real Madrid offered him.
PL trio keen
The La Liga side have made the France international available in the market.
That’s according to Fichajes, who claim Los Blancos want at least €50m. It’s worth noting earlier claims stated the price was €60m.
Manchester United and Manchester City have come forward to sign Eduardo Camavinga while Chelsea are also keen.
He has returned to Real Madrid for pre-season training after completing a course at Harvard University during the summer break.
Manchester clubs advancing for Chelsea target
Xabi Alonso knows Eduardo Camavinga first hand from his time at Real Madrid. However, Chelsea have only shown interest, without making a proposal.
Both Manchester United and Manchester City have made further advances by submitting offers.
There’s no mention of their details and it may not matter considering the Frenchman’s entourage have rejected their approaches. Meanwhile, the Real Madrid player himself rules out the Chelsea option.
The former Stade Rennais man is clear that he wants to continue in the Spanish capital. Therefore, he won’t listen to any offers or approaches.
José Mourinho doesn’t have the player as part of his core plans for next season. However, the manager wants to give Camavinga a chance to prove himself during pre-season. This could be crucial for his immediate future at Real Madrid.
If the midfielder can’t convince Mourinho, the Spanish giants would try to force him out.
This may not happen in the next few days. Therefore, Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea have to wait to sign him this summer.
