Chelsea set plan for Trevoh Chalobah after rejecting £20m Como bid
Chelsea have a price that Cesc Fabregas and Como must meet if they want to sign Trevoh Chalobah, The Chelsea Chronicle understands.
Trevoh Chalobah finds himself at a familiar career crossroads despite a summer of personal achievement.
Fresh off representing England at the 2026 World Cup, the defender is returning to Stamford Bridge with his international reputation enhanced, only to see his club future in uncertainty.
However, Chalobah is believed to be interested in making the move to join up with Cesc Fabregas, but the issue is Chelsea have already knocked back multiple bids from Italian outfit Como.

Chelsea hold out for £35 million fee for Trevoh Chalobah
Transfer insider Ekrem Konur has told The Chelsea Chronicle that Chelsea have raised their asking price to around £35 million (€40 million).
He stated:
“Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has emerged as one of the most talked-about names in the summer transfer window. Chelsea have already turned down two bids for the player, raising their asking price to around £35 million (€40 million).
“As mentioned, Como have submitted a package of £20 million (€25 million) guaranteed plus £4 million (€5 million) in easily achievable add-ons, bringing the total proposal close.
“With Como set to compete in Europe, the project has become highly attractive to Chalobah, who has indicated he would not create issues regarding personal terms.
“Inter Milan have held discussions with Chalobah as they look to add two central defenders to their squad this summer. Crystal Palace are also named in the file, while Aston Villa and AC Milan continue to monitor developments closely.

“However, Chalobah’s strong preference for Inter or a move to Serie A makes it a tougher race for the other clubs.
“With Chelsea’s financial expectations aligning closer with the revised bids and the player pushing for a Serie A move, the likelihood of this transfer materializing has increased significantly. Active talks remain ongoing.”
One thing that is for certain is an exit for Trevoh Chalobah is guaranteed, it just depends whether any club can reach the fee that Chelsea are demanding.
Plus, Maxence Lacroix is set to join Chelsea for around £52 million, so a replacement is already signed.
